Create a Level
Download the HyRun mod to build and test tracks in single player with the same experience you’ll have on the server: start/end zones, checkpoints, resets, timer HUD, and mode rules.
🎮 How to Use the Mod
📦 Installation
Download the Mod
Get the latest HyRun mod from CurseForge.
Install to Mods Folder
Place the downloaded mod file into your Hytale mods folder inside a new world you created.
Build & Test in Single Player
Create your track and test the full time-trial loop with server-parity rules (zones, HUD, resets, modes).
Submit on Discord
Post your finished track in the HyRun Discord so it can be reviewed and published on the server.
🛠️ Commands & Level Creation
HyRun levels are built with zones. The intended workflow is: create and test in a single player world, then share the level on Discord so it can be added to the HyRun servers.
# Get builder/admin permissions (single player)
/op self
# Create a level in the current world
/timer create <level>
# Optional: set a spawn point
/timer setspawn <level>
# Create zones (select corners with pos1/pos2)
/timer zone <level> <start|end|reset|checkpoint>
/timer pos1
/timer pos2
# Test and iterate
/timer restart
/timer reset
# Inspect your setup
/timer info <level>
/timer zones <level>
